Iam having too many disconnects on a network that I have setup on a customer’s premises.
I’ve got 5 cAP Gi-5acD2nD, one per floor running in AP mode, same ssid different frequencies. All Ethernet are bridged on the same bridge that the wifi ports are.
I have 3 SSID’s running per AP, but the clients are connecting on the TESTING-Guest SSID (the 5ghz band is not been used for the users)
The problem is that the customer is complaining for multiple disconnects and I’ve seen the client loosing full connectivity and even unable to find the AP for a few seconds.
I got the same setup with different Mikrotik hardware on other customers without fail.
I’ve tried WDS, WDS mesh with same results.
I believe that the devices are getting too hot to handle by hand, but iam getting nothing out of /system health get temperature.
On the log windows other than the usual disconnect message (disconnected extensive data loss). Iam getting nothing else.
Does any one out there had temperature problems with this hardware?
