SXTsq 5 ac very slow pairing

Sat Jul 21, 2018 9:34 pm

Hello guys!

I bought two SXTsq 5 ac units a couple of days ago, and for the first time i created a PTP link.
So i configured everything, and for a few days now everything is working alright.
What i am wondering is, is it normal for the link to be established for like 15+ minutes, is there any reason why it happens so slowly?
Is it possible that i misconfigured something, the distance is about 400 meters, the signal strength is very good and the wireless protocol is set to NV2.

Here is the config export of my transmitter:

Code: Select all

# software id = QFAR-GRL4
#
# model = RouterBOARD SXTsq G-5acD
# serial number = 81900861994D
/interface bridge
add name=bridge1
/interface wireless
set [ find default-name=wlan1 ] band=5ghz-a/n/ac channel-width=20/40/80mhz-Ceee country=******* disabled=no frequency=5640 mode=bridge name=wlan2 nv2-preshared-key="********" nv2-security=enabled radio-name=Transmitter ssid=\
Transmitter wds-default-bridge=bridge1 wds-mode=dynamic wireless-protocol=nv2
/interface wireless security-profiles
set [ find default=yes ] authentication-types=wpa2-psk mode=dynamic-keys supplicant-identity= wpa-pre-shared-key=*********** wpa2-pre-shared-key=**********
/interface bridge port
add bridge=bridge1 hw=no interface=ether1
add bridge=bridge1 interface=wlan2
/ip address
add address=192.168.101.2/24 interface=bridge1 network=192.168.101.0
And here is the receiver:

Code: Select all

# software id = 3LIS-P0WD
#
# model = RouterBOARD SXTsq G-5acD
# serial number = 81900785ECF0
/interface bridge
add fast-forward=no name=bridge1
/interface wireless
set [ find default-name=wlan1 ] band=5ghz-a/n/ac channel-width=20/40/80mhz-Ceee country=*********** disabled=no frequency=5640 mode=station-bridge nv2-preshared-key="**********" nv2-security=enabled ssid=Transmitter wds-default-bridge=\
bridge1 wds-mode=dynamic wireless-protocol=nv2
/interface wireless security-profiles
set [ find default=yes ] supplicant-identity=
/interface bridge port
add bridge=bridge1 interface=ether1
add bridge=bridge1 interface=wlan1
/ip address
add address=192.168.101.3/24 interface=bridge1 network=192.168.101.0
As i said the connection is flawless and everything works okay, but why when you restart one of the devices it takes so much time for the link to be established again?

Thank you all in advance for the delegated time!

There are unfixed issues with new ARM Based devices and NV2
Go with 802.11 until the fix is delivered

It could be Radar Detect.
If you have US version, you are stick with it.
For the rest of the world it can be disabled.
