RouterBOARD 532 speed problems!

Fri Feb 09, 2007 8:56 am

I'm really new to this so I could really need som help. I've recently bought a RouterBOARD 532. I have 100/10 mbit full duplex here at home. I just want to use it as a simple router with some open ports. Nothing fancy. The only problem is that I get only about 30 mbit when I download. When I try without out the router I get about 90 mbit. Can anyone help me? :?:

Yes. Tracking is off. Can't really see what the problem is. When I download something it stays at 35 mbit. But without the router I just got 87 mbit.

sorry to be off topic:
but how do you have 90+ mbits at your home?

tks

EDIT: btw, you should be getting more than 35mbit as i have seen 40+ mbit on rb532s with tracking and some other options

Why is that something strange? I have it here in Sweden (Halmstad) in my apartment. I have 100/10 full duplex (http://www.bahnhof.se). I get better speed with my Netgear RP614v3. Get about 55 mbit. That's not bad with a low budget router.

Well maybe not overseas. I mainly use it for bittorrents and gaming. It takes me about 7-8 min for a 4 gb dvd movie. I pay 42 USD/month.
