Has anyone tested ROS V3 with VIA boards - last posts I've seen on that are 2.9 version, with mixed results. I need to re-do some tower equipment and instead of RB532's, I need something capable of much faster speeds and packet aggregation for VOIP. I was thinking about the P4 MiniITX with a Mobile processor, but VIA is a simpler solution.

i could be wrong but i always thought the problem with the VIA platform was the boards running the VIA CPU's not the ones running the P4 CPUS's.

How ever i could be SADLY wrong...

But I would RATHER use a Via 800mhz vs. a P4 due to cooling issues and such, so if it worked I can get these Via Nehemia (sp) 1400+ boards which run about 1ghz for less than a hundred dollars, vs. a Commell P4 board that's almost 300 without a processor.
