Hello,

I'm trying to figure out the status of the power inputs (ie PoE and external power adapter). However, /system health print doesn't display *anything* useful. I'm wondering whether this model actually supports something like that in the first place and whether there is anything that would describe the capabilities of each model. I've included below a snippet of the output for reference. It's running RouterOS atm.

As far as I know, the CRS 326 only shows temp, it does not show input voltage. And in routers like the 2011 and 3011 that do show input voltage, I am unaware of a way to monitor if the input voltage is coming from the DC input jack or the POE in. It seems to me that the DC inputs are bridged, althoug hI have not taken the units apart to visually confirm..

As a potential imperfect workaround, If it is important to monitor input voltage to the dc input, and you are using an APC UPS, you could install the UPS package and monitor the voltage from there via a script, but this would give you AC line voltage (not DC). Essentially you would query the UPS ... It has the added benefit of being able to tell you when there is a power outage, and to take the appropriate measures. You would need the appropriate cables(s) and serial port /USB converters ... depending on the ports available on the crs326 and the UPS.

Thanks a lot, it's important to just understand the limitations so we know how to deploy things. Sometimes it's remote hands doing the work and we have no visibility apart from what the device reports. As a consequence, for this particular L3 switch, we would not know if it's running on redundant power or not. The workaround you proposed would work great provided the usage of monitored PDUs.

Hi

i was searching this for crs326 an temp in order to verify a temp baseline. And the only thread which had at least something usefull was this one.
The spec only state ambient temeperature but not cpu temperature.
I also have 71 Celsius and im wondering if this is in an acceptable range for the device.

Does anyone know where to find informations about hat.
