Hi All,
I planning to design a network for a small business (preferably on 10 Gigabit) . Please provide any recommendation or if I am wrong on any of this please let me know!
1. I have to use the "Hitron v3" ISP router for internet as it has been locked by ISP. So, planning to turn the ISP router into modem mode.
2.I am going to buy and install "RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN" as the second router and connect it to the ISP router via Rj45 LAN cable (No fiber / Sfp+ port on ISP router, sadly).
3.Then I would like to buy and connect "CRS305-1G-4S+IN" switch to the "RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN" router via 10 Gigabit fiber SFP+ port on fiber cable.
4. NAS , plotter and PC will be connected to the switch via SFP+ ports. I have SFP+ NIC on the PC
Please advise if these will be compatible? Will it come up with speed drop and etc... Anything else to consider ?
Thank you,
