Mikrotik behind HG8245H

Sat Jan 05, 2019 4:21 am

Hi All, I have the following issue,

I have a router Huawei HG8245H that is connected to my WAN port on the Mikrotik using DHCP Client (172.16.0.2), I have Internet access and until here I do not have problems, in the interface 5(192.168.1.254) of the MTK I have a DHCP Server(192.168.1.0/24) for my LAN, here I have an SW not manageable with computers connected without problems, on this SW I have a Wireless Modem Router(192.168.1.253) to use as an Access Point to provide WiFi, here I do not have problems, my mobile device works perfectly, I have my MTK configured to work with DDNS to manage it from outside and I can do that, the problem is when I try to manage the Access Point, I have created a NAT for that:

Chain: dstnat
Dst. Address: 172.16.0.2
Protocol: 6
Dst. Port: 60000
Action: dstnat
To Address: 192.168.1.253
To Port: 80

The weird thing is that I have packets when I try to manage the AP on my browser.

On my HG8245H just I have configured the MTK with DMZ and also I have disabled all my filter rules to discard that can be the problem into the MTK.

I hope you can help me.

Regards,

CG.

1.- First. check if you can reach the mikrotik, for checking is the DMZ is working well.

Hi,

Check with you ISP or try to set the Huawei HG8245H in bridge mode. Will save you a lot of trouble.
