Hotspot Bypass

Mon Nov 22, 2004 9:32 am

Hi all,

Have been searching for a solution to this for a little while now.

I'm trying to allow full speed access to some servers on my network from the client side of a Mikrotik box setup as a Hotspot.

I've tried queue trees, mangling etc but can't seem to get them to do what I want. The only way so far has been to setup two simple queues to process the ingoing and outgoing traffic. problem is they need to be first in the list and the auto created user ones bypass them :(

Any ideas would be great....TIA

Bill

Thanks for that, will have to modify it slightly, but 'should' work. Although I will still need to work out how to give more bandwidth to it.

Ok have tried that, cant get it to do what I want it to do. The aim is to:

1. Allow Any Client to Access my Local Public Network
2. Allow Any Client to Access my Loca Private Network
3. To Allow them to access both networks at 5mbps while still limiting outside networks to say 256kbps.
