Need help on LAN Loadbalancer

Wed Apr 24, 2019 5:26 am

Hi everyone,

I need some help. I'm having a situation to solve.

I'll have server A, and server B, both of them are master-master replicated, and to serve multiple devices that will read and write data into it, in-between, I need a router/loadbalancer to make sure, if server A down, all these devices will automatically switch to server B. All traffics are in local network. Something like HAproxy or Ngix proxy, but the problem was, I can't put a proxy server in-between as the environment are not allowed to do so. Using routerboard will be my first choice as it can be exchange on the spot if any incident happen.

Any idea how to do so ? I'm new in this field and I really need help on this.

Thanks a lot, and sorry for my poor grammar.
