Hi, I know somewhere must be already existing thread about it, I even was googling about it and found in some of the threads about a possibility to use a USB hub with Mikrotik via USB ports to connect multiple USB devices, I'm sorry for creating a new one, but I only would like to ask who knows about summary amperage of MukroTik's USB port with amperage of USB hub's power supply, will they combine together? Just want to know if MikroTik's USB port give some amperage while I'm using a USB hub with its own power supply. Thanks.

I don't have an answer to your specific question, but my general recommendation is any time you are using a USB hub in a fixed situation, use a powered hub. That solves the current limit issue. Since you are proposing to use a USB hub connected to a router, I assume it will be in a fixed installation and therefore, you can use a powered hub.

Correct. That's why I recommend them for fixed applications. Has solved many problems over the years.
