I would like to suggest that they design a CCR 1036 router with 4 SFP+ ports and 1 ethernet console, this would be enough to have 2 redundant networks, connect 1 small OLT device and 1 other smaller router
I would also like a router with 3-6 SFP+ ports, currently you have to pay for 1072(which is sortof expensive) to get a dual 10G links and still have a 10G downlink to other equipment. Using switches inbetween feels "wrong" and like an unessesary point of failure if you want multiple 10G links to the same equipment.
I don't understand why someone (e.g. OP) would ask "that they design a CCR 1036 router with 4 SFP+ ports" ... unless they wanted high-speed routing between those 10G interfaces. And that's the point of my comment ... CRS is not CCR. Period.
True, I now understand your point. Someone's says that are too expensive, but it's the prise of the high power. In fact, if someone search the same but in other brands, the price can be much more expensive.
