RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN SFP+ issues v6.45.2 (stable)

Fri Jul 19, 2019 6:29 pm

Hi,
I would like to report that some of my SFP+ modules have stopped working in a RB4011.
I upgraded the router from v6.45.1 (stable) to v6.45.2 (stable). I have tested cheap eBay SFP+ modules (CISCO SFP-10G-SR), none of them work. I then tried using official MikroTik DAC SFP+ cables and they do work OK.
/interface ethernet monitor sfp-sfpplus1
name: sfp-sfpplus1
status: no-link
auto-negotiation: done

link-partner-advertising:
sfp-module-present: no
I have tested the same module (CISCO SFP-10G-SR) in a CRS317 and it does establish a link successfully.
It also looks like that the router briefly initializes the SFP+ module (CISCO SFP-10G-SR) during boot up (probably RouterBoot).

Kind regards,
Luka

See the main 6.45.2 tread. There is a problem with the sfp's.
