What version of ROS are you using?

I think that you're having unoutorized access and someone is restarting your password for default.

Also you can try to change the username to see what happends.

Regards.

Hi,

Thanks for the response. I have created multiple users, but all are getting removed and admin password is getting to default(blank). Present ROS is 6.44.3. I have faced the same issue earlier, i have reinstalled ROS with updated OS(6.44.3) its stable for few months. Again issue repeated.

For sure RouterOS does not remove users and does not change passwords by itself. Please properly Secure your device!

Seems that your router goes into read-only mode. That can be caused by corrupted memory and/or HW issues. Netinstall your router to the latest RouterOS version, upgrade firmware and see if that helps. If not, then send supout file from your router to support@mikrotik.com.
