RADIUS: how to send a error message from RADIUS to MT

Mon Apr 16, 2007 4:30 pm

Hi people,
I use MT's and FreeRadius Server form my hotspots. How can I send a error message from my RADIUS server to my MT hotspot ?
For instance, uptime-limit message when my account has Session-Timeout = 0 (I know MT shows this message for local accounts.)

Thanks!!

Reply-Message attribute...

As far as I know, MT ignores the attribute...

I've never seen it show up on the Hotspot interface, the logs, or PPPoE.

Hotspot does not ignore this attribute. In case of Access-Reject
Reply-message from radius is used as error message (in logs and in
response for user as well).
If it does not work, please send supout file to support.

I stand corrected, it has been a while since I touched the hotspot. I'm more interested to see it in the logs for PPPoE/PPP connections
