L2 shaping and EoIP shaping

Fri Sep 20, 2019 7:44 pm

Hi,

I've searched the forum for this questions, and none of the treads answers it.
The standard answer is "create a simple queue, remember to set use-ip-firewall", but this does not shape L2 traffic or other than IP-traffic.
So the question is, since not all switch chips support the bandwidth or ingress/egress settings, how can we shape a physical interface or a EoIP tunnel?
There is no doubt that the best would be if there was the ability to just set the bandwidth at the interface level, as you do on a HPE or Cisco switch..

So, normis, or anyone else, please answer me! :D
