Hi There,

I have a hotspot setup in the following configuration.

Wirless DHCP pool for wireless clients - 10.5.50.2-10.5.50.254
Lan interface on the hotspot is - 192.168.1.1
Adsl router is 192.168.1.254

I want to make sure that the wireless clients that connect to can not communicate with each other.

eg somone on 10.5.50.254 can not ping 10.5.50.253

I tried setting up the following rule but it did not work.

Src ip: 10.5.50.2-10.5.50.254
Dst IP: 10.5.50.2-10.5.50.254
Action Drop

Any ideas ????

Disable "default foward" in WinBox or set default forwarding=no in command line.

This worked up until a user logged in.

I found that I had to include the firewall rules as well to make it work

Can you show an example hot to set that up, we need to deploy a working hotspot realy fast, and we need to isolate co client to client communication + shared folders etc.

Pam Go into IP - Firewall - Add a Rule - General Tab

For both SRC Address and DST Address enter the following

10.5.50.2-10.5.50-254

On the action tab select DROP

Thats it !
