Problem ICMP

Wed Mar 25, 2020 7:17 pm

routers:

Router A - CCR1072-1G-8S + firmware v6.44.3 stable

Router B - CCR1072-1G-8S + firmware v6.44.3 stable

Between both teams I have a FO link and on the physical FO interfaces I use a WAN vlan, although the WAN medium does not matter since it also happens to me with PTP Wireless links so it does not have to do with the issue of FO levels / Wireless nor the type of transceiver modules.

Router a

Flags: X - disabled, R - running

# NAME MTU ARP VLAN-ID INTERFACE

28 R ;;; toRouter B

vlan3013 1500 enabled 3013 sfp + 1

19 ;;; toIP-Router A

10.30.12.5/30 10.30.12.4 vlan3013

/ ping 10.30.12.6 src-address = 10.30.12.5

SEQ HOST SIZE TTL TIME STATUS

0 10.30.12.6 56 64 0ms

1 10.30.12.6 56 64 0ms

2 10.30.12.6 56 64 0ms

3 10.30.12.6 56 64 0ms

4 10.30.12.6 56 64 0ms

5 10.30.12.6 56 64 0ms

sent = 6 received = 6 packet-loss = 0% min-rtt = 0ms avg-rtt = 0ms max-rtt = 0ms

Router b

Flags: X - disabled, R - running

# NAME MTU ARP VLAN-ID INTERFACE

18 R ;;; toRouter A

vlan3013 1500 enabled 3013 sfp-sfpplus2

41 ;;; toIP-Router B

10.30.12.6/30 10.30.12.4 vlan3013

/ ping 10.30.12.5 src-address = 10.30.12.6

SEQ HOST SIZE TTL TIME STATUS

0 10.30.12.5 timeout

1 10.30.12.5 timeout

2 10.30.12.5 timeout

3 10.30.12.5 timeout

4 10.30.12.5 timeout

5 10.30.12.5 timeout

sent = 6 received = 0 packet-loss = 100%

/ routing ospf neighbor print

0 instance = ospf13 router-id = 10.255.255.4 address = 10.30.12.5 interface = vlan3013 priority = 1

dr-address = 0.0.0.0 backup-dr-address = 0.0.0.0 state = "Init" state-changes = 1

ls-retransmits = 0 ls-requests = 0 db-summaries = 0

If you see I only have communication at the ICMP level from Router A to Router B and from Router B I have no communication to Router A and due to this problem the OSPF session does not raise me. I have this problem with several mikrotik equipment of various models (CCR-1009-7G-1C-1S +) and I have also tried other newer firmware and always the same problem, in the example I send I use that version of firmware because it is the more stable I have found except with this problem.
To solve this problem, what I have to do is use another IP block other than the current one, it is as if there is something that blocks or restricts the ips that I am using, but I do not have any rule in the firewall part that restricts or blocks this type of action.

Waiting for your comments and thank you in advance for your time
