so it appears that MikroTik detects when SIM card is removed, but does not detect when it's inserted - at least it works that way with R11e-LTE & R11e-LTE6 modules. Currently I'm doing "auto detection" with a scheduler that disables & re-enables the LTE interface. However, this has a downside of spamming the log with "device changed by admin" messages. More importantly, I'm worried about what's happening behind the scenes with this approach - is it bad for the modem?
Since there is no reference guide published for these modems AFAIK, I've tried some other "usual" AT commands, which are not working here (AT#QSS, AT#SIMDET, AT+KSIMDET,...). Does anyone know of some other AT commands that would "check for SIM presence" and works on these modems?
