PPP - Active Connections - Old Connections Can't be Removed

Hey,

Please bear with me, as I'm by no means a networking guy, but recent global events has increased our dependency on our VPN connection so I'm trying to get more involved. I apologise in advance if this is not an appropriate type of post for this forum (I struggled to find a Support section or separate Support forum).

We have a CCR1036-8G-2S+ running RouterOS 6.42.6.

In Winbox, I've noticed that under PPP --> Active Connections, a large number of our VPN'd users are duplicated, with the duplicated connections all being about 15 days old.

When I try to remove these via the remove button, the UI removes them and then they are re-added after 20 seconds or so (with the same original uptime, so the connection wasn't actually removed). This doesn't happen when I remove a non-duplicated connection (for instance, if I remove my own connection I am immediately disconnected from the VPN).

I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction so I can do some more concise research on fixing this issue, as I'm concerned it's causing performance issues for our VPN users. We haven't tried rebooting yet, as the office is closed (although we absolutely can get on-site if we need to, but it's ideally a last resort).
