strange behavior when using VLAN and pptp

Sun Jun 28, 2020 8:49 pm

Hello,
i need to setup a VoIP scenario. My PBX is on location A and my phones are on location B. Location A and B are connected using a VPN tunnel. The phones on locations B are on VLAN10, and the assigned subnet is 192.10.0.0/27. My default subnet from location B is 192.168.10.0/24. I also using a vpn inteconnect for the vpn tunnel (192.168.100.0/29). The subnet in location A is 192.168.20.0/24 and my VLAN10 from location A is 192.20.0.0/27. When i'm connecting the phones from location B to PBX, i'm seeing all of the phones from location B with a single IP, 192.168.20.1, which is the default gateway from location A, not with the real IPs alocated from VLAN10 in location B. Does anyone have any idea how to repair this problem? Thanks!

That sounds like a too wide src-nat rule at site A. Cannot be more specific without seeing your configuration, see my automatic signature below.
Instead of writing novels, post /export hide-sensitive. Use find&replace in your favourite text editor to systematically replace all occurrences of each public IP address potentially identifying you by a distinctive pattern such as my.public.ip.1.

pptp is not a recommended secure vpn tunnel method. If you are actually passing sensitive information suggest changing, however if its just for your personal use probably ok.
I'd rather manage rats than software. Follow my advice at your own risk! (Sob & mkx forced me to write that!)
