I'm managing thousands of hAP Lites which we all know have limited space. Before 6.47 the problems with upgrading were sporadically happening.
These days with 6.47 I have locations where only a few % of routers will upgrade (via capsman). Most of them will just pop up an error and the only way to upgrade them is to manually upload selected packages.

I know all of the changes will take space but shouldn't the smips package for hAP lite have reduced size or some other solution so this process would go smoothly?

I know this is mostly a question for Mikrotik employees...

Yes it was. Without any proper solution as far as I'm aware (wiping the whole system or doing netinstall is not a real solution that could be implemented with hundreds/thousands of units)

So what can another thread bring new?
