Two routerboard connection

Wed Oct 07, 2020 12:02 am

I have a one small problem with this situation: I have two router boards, first ist configure with dhcp (port 1 is WAN1 for ISP, port 5 is WAN 2 for second routerbord. Second routerboard I have configured for dhcp (port 1 is second ISP) I dont use firewall. Port 5 (first board) is connected to port 4 (second board). In board one I have connected via dhcp one device, which must comunicated with another device in second board. Everything runnning corretly, but problem is in IP. Device in board one has IP -, port 5 in board one has ip .88.200 (IP from second board DHCP) - and this is a problem. When I trying connect to device in second board with IP .77.250 I connect, but IP which I see in device is IP .88.200, no .77.250. I want direct connection with this two devices. It is possible?

Thank you very much.

On first board you need to disable NAT or masquarade rules for output port 5 if it exist.

On second board you need to add route to network:
/ip route add dst-address= gateway=
