Can't Bridge wlan1 & wlan2 for Hotspot (PCI raiser)

Wed Jun 27, 2007 5:30 am

Hi, I can't bridge the 2 wlans in ap-bridge mode to use the same hotspot. if one is connected, the other have disabled port. I have done this before in my RB153 with no problem. This is the first time I tried on my PC (small form factor with a PCI raiser of 2 slots - I have 2 mini-pci to pci adapters and 2 SR2 cards and level 5 license). What could be the problem?

Create bridge 'interface bridge add',
add wireless interfaces as ports to bridge,
configure HotSpot to bridge interface.
That's all, if you will have any errors or problems, post them here.

I tried your suggestion and now sometimes both wlans' Role appear to be "disabled port" and sometime just one of them. Interestingly, I still be able to connect to the hotspot through both cards. Another problem is that the upload speed is extremely sluggish. speedtest.net and pcpitstop.com upload bandwidth tests had problem. Error message from pcpitstop says: "We were not able to test upload bandwidth. (0) This is often due to a hardware or software firewall blocking the FTP protocol that the test uses". I am having v3 beta9 currently installed. Any suggestions?
