Limiting the packets per second - dst-limit

Thu Jul 12, 2007 8:35 pm

Hi all,

I want to limit the packets per second on my APs for each customer. I saw in the Mikrotik manual that this can be done with dst-limit in the filter rule, but I dindn't able to put this in pratic.

How can I make this? Is it possible?

The dst-limit is an "accept" rule - so this rule will match if limit is at or below the specified amount. You would need a drop rule of some sort after the dst-limit rule to limit the sessions

Hi savagedavid,

Thanks for your answer, but I don't understand it. Can you give an example of how I have to do to limit the pps of my customers?
