I'm trying to connect the switch to this router using the Q+BC0003-S+ breakout cable. The router show link up on the 4 SFP+ module, but on the switch, there is no link, and the only info I get from the switch is : Connector Type : no separable connector
Is there a special command to get this setup to work. Running 6.48.1 and tried 6.49beta11 on the switch with the same result. This is out of the box with no config changes (except a DHCP client for management).
Update : I just found this on this url : https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/MikroTik ... P.2B_ports
QSFP+ interfaces compatibility settings with SFP+ ports
For MikroTik devices, the connection between the QSFP+ and SFP+ ports, using breakout cables, the following settings on QSFP+ interfaces need to be set:
auto-negotiation disabled
port speed 10G
Full-Duplex
So everything seem to be working now !
This info should be included with the product install guide ! (But I guess it not an issue with the Cable itself but how RouterOS handle it.
