CRS326-24G-2S+ and ATT BGW210-700 (no bypass)

Tue Mar 16, 2021 1:48 pm

Is there a method where we can just leverage the ATT BGW210-700 Fiber Residential GW with the CRS326-24G-2S+ with VLANS locally? There is a guide on bypassing it, but I don't want to bypass it completely because we are currently require it for phone service.

I am interested in setting up a dozen VLANs with a DHCP server for each on a 10.0.0 or 192.168.0 scheme that I can route at the home, they don't need to carry through the gateway. Nothing too crazy. There's less than 100 hosts physical and virtual total. But now that everything is here and I'm looking at this and trying it I think I may have the wrong equipment for the job.

Is this impossible without the throughput of a CCR1036-12G-4S using the Mikrotik side firewall in use? I like what I see from the capabilities of RouterOS and the equipment...I just feel like I am going with a knife in to a gunfight. (edit: rephrased question to clarify)
