IPv6 WAN issue

Thu Apr 01, 2021 11:03 pm

Hello, I am having an issue with my IPv6 config.

I was given an IPv6 WAN address from my ISP as xxxx:xxxx:xx::11/127 and the gateway they gave me is xxxx:xxxx:xx::10/127.

I am able to ping my ISPs gateway xxxx:xxxx:xx::10/127, but I cannot ping anything passed that.

my routing table has their gateway as reachable via eth1. I have tried to add a default route of ::/0 to my gateway from ISP xxxx:xxxx:xx::10/127, but it says unreachable.

I am able to ping the gateway of xxxx:xxxx:xx::10/127 from external sources, but unable to ping my IPv6 xxxx:xxxx:xx::11/127.

Tracert to 2001:4860:4860::8888 timesout. Also, my ISP CAN ping me at xxxx:xxxx:xx::11/127.

I have eth1 configured as my WAN and it also has an IPv4 WAN address and that all works great.

I do not know what in the world I have wrong.

Please any help would be appreciated. I have looked everywhere and cannot find a specific answer to my question.
