Hello my friends
We have a problem that many managers have
It is the problem with this button resetall counters
As we lose all subscriber data by mistakenly clicking on this button
We hope you will
Confirm the action by clicking on this button with Yes or No
Or the ability to hide or show this button
It will be a good step for administrators who control the hotspot network
thank you
Thanks Mikrotik

The problem is not the button, (or the position of the button) the problem is the use:
use user-manager or other RADIUS service, and this can't happen.

Use the hotspot / users only if the users are really a few...

User Manager problem is database corruption all the time, especially in connection with sudden power outages due to reasons beyond our control unlike hotspot. I don't want to risk 500 users' data.

home: power outages = UPS, no more worries.
Business: power outages = better UPS no more worries.
Business: Longer term power outages = better UPS + generator

Avoiding proper use of functionality is a temporary excuse the first time it happens, next time be prepared.

User Manager problem is database corruption all the time,
From 2007 till now, no one user-manager on production corrupted (and all under UPS)...
Ah... and if you do not know, you can backup, on other machine, the database...

Long term Business: avoid to have all on unique place, and have backup data lines and servers...

If you don't mind sir but there are several types of UPS. Can you specify a specific type of UPS?

Re: Magic troubles button "Reset all counters" from MikroTik  [SOLVED]

Sure,
here is what I have in my home.
By the way.
HOUSE Main Panel includes one CB - Surge for entire house.

****UPS For Two ISP modems, router, switches, etc (in garage)
(APC Backups Pro 1000S & APC Backups 1500 & APC Backups XS 1000) all tall

UPS downstairs for 2 switches and power for two access points
(Cyberpower 850 sinewave) tall

UPS upstairs for my PC and one switch and one wifirouter (acting as an access point) two monitors .
(Cyber power 1500VA) tall

UPS upstairs for my work laptop and large monitor
(Cyberpower 1325VA sinewave) tall

UPS upstairs for printers
(Cyberpower 850) flat

UPS upstairs for TPLINK 660HD access point.
(APC Backups 550) flat

UPS for entertainment cabinet, one switch many devices, apple tv etc, receiver, nintendo switch etc...
(APC Backups 1500) tall

UPS for spouses and large monitor and video conf equipment.
(Cyberpower 850) flat

UPS for CERV EQUINOX (look it up LOL)
(Cyberpower 850 sinewave) tall

Flat = plugs face up, unit is flat on ground, smaller type
Tall = plugs are in back unit is upright.

******** For a business setting for main switches patch panel garage I would probably consider the following but just guessing.
For a power outage greater than 5 minutes I would have a generator kick in. Typically a power outage is flicker or a few seconds offline.
If power does not come back up its likely down for a while.
