Ping IP from one router to another via another router

Sat May 01, 2021 8:24 pm

Hello,

I truly thank you for because on some other topics i used to find the proper answer here, on forum, but this time is with no luck,
So going straight forward...

Router 1 have GRE tunnel with Router 2.
Router 2 have GRE and EOIP with Router 3 and Router 4.

All of them are Mikrotiks, mostly up to date.
Pinging local subnet of Router 2 from Router 1 is OK, reverse also ok from Router 2 to Router 1. Also pinging from Router 2 to Router 3 and 4 works great, reverse also.

Question: How do I set up the Router 1 in order to ping the Router 3 and Router 4 without the hassle of making another tunnel from Router 1 to Router 3 and 4, basically Router 2 acting let's say like a gateway?

I know maybe it's a dumb question, also it might be also here on forums, but neither finded.

Thank you a lot, and Happy Easter!
