Tunnel limit throughput to TCP connection socket

Wed May 12, 2021 9:42 pm

Hello
I am having throughput problems through a tunnel IPIP between CCR1036 and CCR1009 when traffic is TCP.

The maximum speed obtained in a TCP socket is 120mbps, when open a new TCP socket through tunnel, this connection has others 120mbps, obtained on tunnel throughput speed 240mbps, and so on.

I think that a TCP socket only use a cpu core and can´t use anymore.

Can I do some configuration to optimize the traffic in the tunnel and increase the speed?

No filter rule apply to this traffic, and has enable FastTrack. No has IPSec security.

Internet connections speed are 1Gbps, and ping between routers are 15ms

It is very likely that you also encountered a known bug with MT hardware routers: viewtopic.php?t=146665#p769858
You can replace hardware routers to CHR (CHR do not affected by this issue). Also please create ticket to MT support https://help.mikrotik.com/servicedesk/servicedesk
