Separating Traffic in the same interface

Fri May 21, 2021 11:55 am

Hello!
Im currently using mikrotik routerOS from virtualbox. Setup 7 mikrotik routers and i am trying to exemplify a laboratory question. Each of the mikrotik should have 2 virtual interfaces. Virtualbox only provides me with 2 virtual network adapters wich mikrotik sees them as ether1 and ether2.
I need to make a network where interface 1 from the first router only communicates with interface1 from router 3 and interface 2 from router 5. I thought about having different network ip ranges on the same interface:
(MIKROTIK1- ether1: 10.1.1.3/24 ether2: 20.1.1.3/24 , 30.1.1.3/24)
( MIKROTIK2-ether1: 10.1.1.4/24 ether2: 20.1.1.4/24 , 30.1.1.4/24 ).
But having different networks doesnt help because i can still ping 30.1.1.4/24 from src-addr=20.1.1.3/24. How can i restrict this from happening?
thank you in advance!
