DDNS IP CLOUD

Hello every one how are you today?
there is this message i got when i activated DDNS on my mikrotik router

it says : “DDNS server received request from IP 92.119.70.80 but your local IP was 192.168.0.248; DDNS service might not work.”

the ip (92.119.70.80) is our public ip and (192.168.0.248) is Mikrotik Router’s ip. could you tell me how get this work? here is the router’s DDNS link:

91e10a9c79ad.sn.mynetname.net

if 92.119.70.80 is your public IP, where is set?

Leave that aside, WHY ARE YOU RUNNING RouterOS 6.42.5 (2018!) in 2021!?!?

Concur!!!
For good security reasons, far more important than piddly IP cloud woes.

The reason for your query will also become very clear as well...........
Probably "Use Local Address" setting was set enabled by default and had to be removed via cli command.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

On screenshot, "use local address" do not exist on his version...

Yes, that is why I posted a current version of firmware to demonstrate the difference to the one he posted which is older and does not show the same selection.
Master of the obvious today! ;-)

Would add that some functionality is only accessible through CLI commands (terminal) and not always visible or available on winbox (at least historically).
