Which Oudoors + Gigabit LTE if signal isn't an issue? wAP vs LHGG

Wed Jun 02, 2021 2:40 pm

Hi all,

I'm in the city and I'm getting 150-250Mbps from LTE with 15ms ping times at the roof of my building but hardly any signal at all indoors (basement apartment).
I'm looking for an outdoors solution to install at the roof and share the internet connection to my apartment with cat6. Signal is not an issue (at the roof) as I'm getting full bars with my cell phone.

When I filter the LTE hardware to outdoors and gigabit I'm getting wAP, LHGG and LtAP.

Which one would you recommend and why if price isn't an issue (all 3 were similarly priced).

I was ready to pull the trigger on the LHGG since it seems the most powerful but run into a post saying that the SXT and the LHG aren't great with lower frequencies and optimized only for long distances. However, at least for me signal is not an issue since I'm in the city.

Thank you for your help

I suggest directly put inside hous the wAP kit LTE, it's integrated antennas are better than any phone...

So you don’t recommend the Lhgg? It’s the newest one with the more powerful processor that can do lte6 outdoors

It's fantastic... until everyone as LTE and all user drop on speed......
Already see that on 3G ad 4G on Italy....

It's my opinion, if you accept that, please try to understand my point of view...

No, I totally do and I agree.
I was asking in specific to wAP vs LHGG on the antenna design for my use case.

Thank you
