Link down on SFP+ when removing QSFP+ module

Wed Jun 23, 2021 3:25 pm

Hi,

I observed a strange behavior with the CRS326-24S+2Q+RM:
# Port 23 (SFP+) is populated with a RJ01 SFP module and has an active link.
# QSFP+ Port 1 is populated with one end of a Q+DA0001 and has an active link.

If I pull the QSFP+ module, Port 23 looses the link and only get it back if the module is removed and put back in.
Tried the same with port 24 (SFP+) and it behaves like 23 - it looses the link when the QSFP is removed.
Also tried S-31DLC20D (1GBit/s) and XS+31LC10D (10GBit/s) modules. Same result (link loss).
The log only writes "link down" for the QSFP+ and SFP+ ports.

As far, as I can tell, only the ports 21-24 show this behavior. Ports 1-20 works fine.

Software 6.47.10 (long-term)

Any suggestions? A software bug?
