Stuck IP problem or something

Wed Jun 30, 2021 2:40 pm

Hello everyone, I have a very strange scenario here. Client has BGP, with ASN, he gives a /28 to a client of his. Before, this link was through the /28 itself, so it was like this, for example:
1.1.1.0 > network
1.1.1.1 > Operator side
1.1.1.2 > Client Side
1.1.1.15 > BroadCast.

So it was done differently, this link was closed via a /30 with a private ip and this entire /28 block was routed to the client.
Now the problems, all the ip, except the end 0.1.15 did not work, I configured them in the client's loopback and it didn't work, bgp was restarted and the ip 0.1 now works but the last IP the 15 doesn't work.
If you configure it in the LoopBack of the BGP it works, if you configure it in the LoopBack of the client it no longer works.
I've already rebooted on the client side, what will it be?

Export of both MikroTik machines?
Hardware?
Version?

>>>this link was closed via a /30 with a private ip
"Closed"?

>>>and this entire /28 block was routed to the client.<<<
SURE???

>>>I configured them<<<
How? Where is the export?

>>>in the client's loopback<<<
What is a "client's loopback"? What you mean?

>>>bgp was restarted and the ip 0.1 now works but the last IP the 15 doesn't work.<<<
Is like the problem is ALSO at the start. Where is the export?

>>>If you configure it in the LoopBack of the BGP it works,<<<
Again: What is a "LoopBack of the BGP"? What you mean?

>>>LoopBack of the client it no longer works<<<
Too much LoopBack will kill you...

>>>What will it be?<<<
The problem is:
You are not trained to do these things without asking for help,
and those here on forum who would like to help you, have no data,
because you have not written anything useful on how the configuration is really done,
instead you write how you SUPPOSE the configuration is done.

"Loopback" means a virtual interface, I just create a bridge without associated ports, then I put the ip on top of this virtual interface.
And about training, I have the 3 mikrotik routing certifications, I'm here because it's a very strange problem, 16 ip's of the /28 only 15 works, one doesn't.
The link between the ISP and the customer is through a private /30, example 10.150.1.1 Operator
10.150.1.2 Customer
So in IP>Route I routed the block 1.1.1.0/28 through the gateway 10.150.1.2, everything is working the 15 ip, except the last one.
About exports, as I'm just doing for the operator, I can't put their settings here due to the contract.

BGP> Mikrotk 1036-8G-2S+ V.6.48
Client>Mikrotik 1036-8G-2S+ V6.47.10

I have perfectly understand the problem about export.
I hope someone with better imagination can help you.
It's my limit, I can't imagine all configuration, also wrong (if any) parts.
Have a nice day.

P.S.: please do not quote on useless way, but use "post reply" button
