DHCP server Over VLAN and making two ports as access and trunk

Wed Jul 07, 2021 4:43 pm

Hi to all , i am using rb3011 with latest Router OS, i need to pass VLAN trunk of a DHCP server running on VLAN id 126 to a remote location and at the same time need to access the dhcp server locally by some clients like pc , mobile etc.

what i did ,---- 1. created a bridge with port ether 3 and ether 4
2. created a vlan id 126 on that bridge
3. assigned ip address 10.1.1.1 on vlan id 126
4. created a dhcp server on vlan id 126

Now, if i connect a router's wan port to ether 3 or 4 of mikrotik and enable VLAN 126 in router's wan connection setting and set wan ip mode to DHCP the mikoritk gives IP via dhcp to the router , that mean ether 3 and ether 4 is working as trunk( tagged).

what i want is to use ether 3 as trunk and ether 4 as access port for the vlan id 126. My aim is to send trunk traffic to remote location via ether 3 and access the dhcp locally via ether 4.

i have tried vlan filtering in the bridge and also make the ports with PVID still no success..

please help me. thanks

slightly confused config...... but
Does your ISP provider give you a pppoe connection on the specific vlan 127?
BUT I see ether1 is your wan,
What I dont understand clearly is your ether2??
