Ask help for iOS app "Mikrotik" about *import devices*

Sat Jul 10, 2021 12:28 pm

I use mobile app named "Mikrotik" on iPhone.

Every time I wanna to update saved device list, I have to remove them one by one, then "import devices" from a backup file (exported by my computer), because the function "import devices" dosen't overwrite exist database, it will append to exist database and appear many duplicated devices.
I've many saved devices, so this is a boring and tired work every time.
I want know how to batch remove them or overwrite exist database.
Thanks!

Instead of internal database, use "winbox database" placed on a sd card as source,
You can simply replace everytime this database with the db coming from your pc.

Ok, is clear: on iPhone, but I'm not sure you wrote it on first, but added it later on topic title and first post...

I do not have noticed that "little" detail...

I'm sorry for you, you have one device than (if you not hack it) you only can do what Apple think you can do.
And the programmers, on iPhone, can do only what Apple think is the way of program.

Ask MikroTik to add "delete all" feature: support@mikrotik.com

That is the correct path, MT has to enable efficient management of multiple devices on the APP.

Hi guys,

Sorry If my post is wrong here.

I'm trying to use the app on an Android device.

Setting Device database to "Winbox database file", and using a downloaded .wbx file.
But I'm getting the following message:
"Unsupported device database file version"

I should mention that using the exact same file, I can successfully import when using Internal database.
I mean the file is definitely NOT wrong or corrupted.

Any ideas please?

Problem solve for my version, uninstall application, and then, reinstall application, find file IP address database with wbx extension, klik directly wbx extension file, android (or maybe ios) Will ask what application open with? choose Mikrotik, pls check app permision of still can`t
