N+streme manages hidden node problem?

Sun Jan 09, 2005 2:23 pm

Hello folks,

I have been reading up on the routerOS 'N-Streme' protocol but still not quite certain about the intent and/or capabilities.

Can someone confirm if i am correct to assume that n-streme 'client polling' is some kind of token management system?

Thanks & regards, Mike.

It is simply polling. There is no token -- that is a different technology.

OK, thanks for the response. And this polling prevents or controls colissions (ie Hidden node issues)?

regards, Mike.
