Router OS 7 - ipv6 - ping issue from client machine

Thu Sep 02, 2021 11:41 pm

I am relatively new to RouterOS this and need some help getting my ipv6 working. Here is my setup.

I have comcast XB7 modem which provides ipv6 address (2 modes stateless as well as Stateful). I am able to ping ipv6 address from the router but not from the client.

XB7 is NOT in bridge mode as I have couple of other routers used. Asus Merlin router works fine when ipv6 is setup in "passthrough mode".

Can any one help?

From Router:
admin@MikroTik] > ping 2001:4860:4860::8888
SEQ HOST SIZE TTL TIME STATUS
0 2001:4860:4860::8888 56 115 11ms777us echo reply
1 2001:4860:4860::8888 56 115 25ms780us echo reply
sent=2 received=2 packet-loss=0% min-rtt=11ms777us avg-rtt=18ms778us
max-rtt=25ms780us

But from client:
PS C:\Windows\system32> ipconfig
