Frequent Disconnections

Mon Sep 27, 2021 4:05 am

all my devices are statically assigned in address list; macs, iphone, ipad, so I can be sure of admin access to my MT ac2 hap. Lately, I am getting frequent disconnections every few mins that its so p'g me off coz its doing it while I am doing it a favor. whats the usual cause of it?

out of topic, is there an ez way and $free to get a CA and so I can redirect to a secured site https// ?

"Let's encrypt" certficates are free, and it seems that ROS 7 even supports them natively (i.e. you don't need an external PC to get and renew the certificate). But if you intend to use it to redirect https requests to hotspot page, it won't work, because the let's encrypt (or any other) certificate will prove your Mikrotik's identity, not the one of the server the client is connecting, so the client will get just a certificate warning, not a redirection.
