PPPoE and Hotspot on just 1 Interface of AP

Sun Aug 19, 2007 7:27 pm

Hello!

Can I make with one Interface on AP Hotspot-Service for unknown Users and PPPoe (both with Radius Auth) for known Users?
How?

I will secure my Network with WPA-EAP with aes ccm.

Have anyone do this?

What must i configure on AP to do this? Currently I have WPA-PSK on CPE and no Hotspot Service. On the AP i have a bridge with 2 Ports eht0 and wlan1.

regards,

Christian

You can do this, but it means having an IP on your public interface...

Another way is to have your PPPoE AP with WPA, and a virtual AP on the same physical interface running Hotspot.
