Connection Mark and Flow Mark

Sun Jan 16, 2005 5:07 am

I am trying to set up P2P traffic throttling but I am struggling to understand mangeling. What is the difference between a connection mark and a flow mark?

Ultimately, I am trying to put all users on a total P2P limit. For example, everyone using any P2P client shares a single allocation of 64kbs up / 128kbs down.

Thanks,
Guy

(i haven't started searching the iptables documentation, maybe there is an explanation)
