PCQ - Queue Type

Sat Sep 15, 2007 4:14 am

Hello

I use pcq queue's and they work very well.

I have 2 quostions.

If I create a queue type pcq for upload and download can I use this on all my simple queue's?
Eg web, voip, games etc or should I create a new pcq queue type of each one?

Also, I have played with limit & total limit on the pcq setup an ddon't knwo what changing these does.
Can someone explain that or tell me what they use?

Thanks

:-)

Yes, you may use them, when 'queue type' configuration does not have anything specific, rather than kind and pcq-clasifier.

When you specify max-limit or limit-at, this amount of data will be divided for this pcq queue.
Total-bandwidth-limit does not work at this case.
