Ntreame Feedback

Sat Sep 22, 2007 5:57 am

Hello

I have found Nstreame to be faster with V3, its really good.

I have found it will disconnect and reconnect really fast tho, about 1 second, not sure if its a problem because I only drop one ping packect each time.

Would you be so kind and share the details?
x86 or RB?
PtP or PtMP?
etc, etc.
Thanks.

Also need to know the number of associated clients. Everything works fine with less than 3 clients and then ping times skyrocket and speed rapidly decreases. Turning off NStreme fixed most of our issues.

There was a post named "Nstreme Bad Performance" or similar, had lots of info.
I know it got kinda OT at times but still would be an interesting archive.
User marksx made some suggestions there.

Normis please UNHIDE this post, of course you could lock it.
Hope you got a tan.

Hello

I was wrong, still disconnects.

To to disconnects you ca turn off polling (but that is what makes speed even in p2p)

Polling and disabling CSMA is the whole point of using NStreme!
