/partitions

Wed Nov 02, 2022 12:13 pm

hello i have a router ( model = CCR1009) with 3 partitions :

[Mikrotik] > /partitions print detail
Flags: A - active, R - running
0 AR name="part0" fallback-to=next version="RouterOS v6.48.5 " size=42MiB

1 name="part1" fallback-to=next version="RouterOS v6.48.5 " size=43MiB

2 name="part2" fallback-to=next version="" size=43MiB

I want to group the two partitions "1" and "2" in one .
Is it with this command that I can do it :

/partitions repartition partitions=1,2

is that after reboot the router will keep partition 0 as Active Running.

Thank you in advance for your answers

don't invent the commands,
is better you ask "how to do this", instead of "with this I do that, or not"

(except x86 and CHR) you can not have asymmetric partitions on internal NAND / Flash
you can change only the partition number from 1 to 8,
everytime the NAND is formatted, is keeped only the first partition, active or not
