I have a program that telnet into all my MT units to do updates, firmware upgrades etc. Been working fine up to now...
I dont know if it's just 3.7 or 3.6 also, but my program started to hang when logging on to any v3 router. I haven't spent MUCH time on it, but what I can see is that when I log in with telnet from Win cmd, after entering login & password, the cursor jumps back to the top of the screen, writes a few blank characters and then return to bottom, the result is something like this:

roTik v3.0rc7
ogin: admin
Password:

where the 2.48 is:
MikroTik v2.9.48
Login: admin
Password:

I think that is what is confusing my software.

The same strange things, when I'm telnetting to MT:
[rk@hit /usr/log]$ telnet xx.xx.xx.xx
Trying xx.xx.xx.xx...

Login failed, incorrect username or password

Login: admin
Password:

See this "Password" without "Login"?

The /sys check install was all ok.

Also in New Terminal window, you can see the cursor jumping around that is not happening in 2.9.xx
