Short of doing a /system reset-configuration
it would be nice to know what kind of interface you are trying to reset on what hardware.

You'll be surprised, bud even system reset didn't restored my original MAC (ethernet RB44G)!!
I think it should be no metter, what interface it is - it is every if, that you changed it's MAC.
I can't find any cli parameter, as suggested by changeip.... Maybe you know something, that I can't see there?
regards!

The RB44G has 4 ethernet interfaces who's MAC addresses should be sequentially numbered. If you only changed it on on one of them you should easily be able to figure it out by looking at the MAC of other other interfaces.

The reason I asked about the interface type is because in V3 you can reset the wireless config specifically.

If for what ever reason you have changed them all and still do not recall what the MAC is... you could try looking on the card itself, maybe on a sticker.

If you are unable to locate the original MAC you can just leave it your made up one.

Thanks
I've changed MAC for all interfaces (config restored via script from another router)
I know about all that you say, but just can't believe, that there is no option to restore original MAC; I thought that it is my mistake - that I cannot find some command etc. Isn't it?

/interface wireless reset-configuration

This is available only in 3.0. Not exactly sure but I think this command resets mac address to defaults, too.

/interface ethernet reset-mac

I asked for this feature a while back when I couldn't figure out the real mac on one of my supermicro embedded nics. I'm glad that they added it.

This function is also available in 2.9.48 but it does.... nothing...
