Hi all!
Does anybode knows, how to restore ORIGINAL (not known) mac address? I've changed the interface's MAC and now I want to restore the original one.

You'll be surprised, bud even system reset didn't restored my original MAC (ethernet RB44G)!!Short of doing a /system reset-configuration
it would be nice to know what kind of interface you are trying to reset on what hardware.
ThanksThe RB44G has 4 ethernet interfaces who's MAC addresses should be sequentially numbered. If you only changed it on on one of them you should easily be able to figure it out by looking at the MAC of other other interfaces.
The reason I asked about the interface type is because in V3 you can reset the wireless config specifically.
If for what ever reason you have changed them all and still do not recall what the MAC is... you could try looking on the card itself, maybe on a sticker.
If you are unable to locate the original MAC you can just leave it your made up one.
/interface ethernet reset-mac <iface>
This function is also available in 2.9.48 but it does.... nothing.../interface wireless reset-configuration
This is available only in 3.0. Not exactly sure but I think this command resets mac address to defaults, too.
