What does this mean?

"Don't use rc12 because of upgrade of x86 only."

I have only really spoken english my whole life. That statement makes no sense to me. Some sort of gramatical issue.

I am thinking it either means:

"do not use rc12, it is for x86 platforms only"

or

"do not use rc12 on x86 platforms, it is intended for RB platforms"

Please have someone at your office who has a better grasp of english make public releases. Saves a great deal of confusion here on this side of the atlantic. If I did business dans Canada francais, je emploi personnes est parle le francais. My french is terrible so I would hire someone just to handle the translations. Commnication with my clients is that important.

I am on their email list for upgrade notifications, this is what I recieved:
Warning, v3rc12 has an error when upgrading the x86 version. There are no known issues for v3rc12 when upgrading RouterBOARDS. Please wait for v3rc13.
Perhaps they added that warning label a little to quickly to prevent people from trying it with x86 products and having issues.

instead of:
Don't use rc12 because of upgrade of x86 only.
perhaps this makes more sense:
Don't use rc12 on x86 because an upgrade issue. Only affects x86.
Just because some people have grammer issues in English doesn't mean they aren't smart engineers. I have seen the worst grammer mistakes on computer forums when English is the user's primary language.

Only CLEAN INSTALL doesn't work on X86, also after SYSTEM RESET on RC12 you might have issues. UPGRADES WORK FINE

well the webpage doesn't list this file because we removed it due to the mentioned problem. notice that webpage only lists RC11. Please wait until a fix for X86 is released.

It seems like that uses the new format CPU naming convention but the files are on the server under the old names. I managed to download it using this link:
http://www.mikrotik.com/download/all_pa ... c11-ns.zip

Please update the filenames correctly.

At last, it is recognized that MAC Winbox had something.....

And , at first hand, a BIG, BIG, BIG step forward with MPLS !!!!!!!!!
You are opening an otherwise closed and expensive market, with support for MPLS.

Congratulations !
:!:

I can't move firewall rules up or down.
We can confirm that on 3.0rc9 in a x86 wrap, when moving any rules with winbox (not only under filter, also mangle) across some other rules, for some reason the rule added becomes action "accept". Create a new rule where there are few others (kinda 10 rules I think is enough), any chain, any addr and set action "log". Click OK and then start moving the rule. Randomly and suddenly the rule becomes "accept". Is that what you talking about?

Just arrange rules by first (number) column - only then you can move them. Amd we are talking about RC13 here, not RC9.

I thought I checked the number order. I renumbered and I can now move it.

Thanks
