Make sure you have the MPLS package installed, It's not included in the all in one file..

/mpls in console
and MPLS/VPLS between IP and Routing winbox

okay, I'm interested in learning more about MPLS, but at the moment know nothing. I do see this however (rc13):

[@cip-hotty] > /tool traceroute http://www.google.com
ADDRESS STATUS
1 10.0.0.73 1ms 1ms 1ms
2 10.134.20.1 19ms 7ms 9ms
3 visthbrc01-gex0914.sd.sd.cox.net 8ms 9ms 9ms
4 fed1sysc01-gex0904.sd.sd.cox.net 13ms 11ms 22ms
mpls-label=3211
5 fed1dsrj01-ge500.0.rd.sd.cox.net 10ms 9ms 9ms
6 paltbbrj02-ae0.0.r2.pt.cox.net 24ms 21ms 21ms
...

Hop 4 shows an MPLS label - how is this happening ? Does COX (ISP) have a security hole or is this something standard ?

[@cip-hotty] > /tool traceroute shop.x.com
ADDRESS STATUS
1 10.0.0.73 1ms 1ms 1ms
2 10.134.20.1 10ms 11ms 9ms
3 visthbrc01-gex0914.sd.sd.cox.net 11ms 11ms 8ms
4 elcnsysc01-gex0901.sd.sd.cox.net 10ms 14ms 9ms
mpls-label=2898
5 pwy1hbrc01-gex0324.sd.sd.cox.net 12ms 16ms 14ms
mpls-label=2184
6 pwy1cmtk02-gex0300.sd.sd.cox.net 13ms 10ms 11ms
7 0.0.0.0 timeout timeout timeout

Is this normal that I am seeing their MPLS stuff on their network ? Is there a possibility that I could use MPLS and their same numbers and get inside their network ? Confused about why I am seeing these.

No this is normal. your ISP is using MPLS on it's network. Since RC13's traceroute is MPLS aware then It displays the info received.

and.. definately not a security issue anywhere..
