Does anyone know how to block internet activities on hotspot when user has not logged on? In my network now a client can ping anything on the internet and get replies even when not logged in, but as soon as he tried to request a page, he has to log in. Is there a way for me to disable this, because i tend to discover that when this happens, active viruses and trojans on users machines can go in and out and drain free BW.

Take a look at the firewall rules that the hotspot has created. There's a specific rule to allow ICMP traffic in the hotspot-temp chain. Just disable or remove that and you're golden.
